This set of two large, high quality magnetic collar keys is designed for Dog Mate collar activated dog doors and pet products, such as the Dog Mate 259 model and the Cat Mate 254, 256, 363 model magnetic cat doors. Two keys are included just in case you need an extra one in the future. The waterproof magnet fits easily onto your dog's pet collar. The dog door opens with collar activation only. As your pet approaches the door, the magnetic pet door senses the key, triggering the door to unlock and open. From there your pet will be able to push through the door.

Note: The manufacturer recently consolidated the 256 and 259 products into one model: the Cat Mate 363. The 256 Large Cat Door and 259 Small Dog Door are identical models, so the collar keys work for all of the models regardless.
