The Mason Company Pickwick Dog Doors are single flap frames made of durable, solid cast aluminum designed ideally as kennel dog doors. Since the Pickwick Dog Kennel Doors does not come with a locking cover, you can use it in conjunction with the Mason Guillotine Doors, which will slide a locking cover over the Pickwick flap when the pulley system is utilized. In this case, the Pickwick dog door (mounted on the exterior side of the kennel) provides the flap and frame, and the guillotine door (mounted on the interior side of the kennel) provides the locking mechanism. Built as a two-way pet door, the Pickwick maneuvers differently according to which direction your pet is coming from. When your pet leaves to go outside, the entire assembly (aluminum frame and polycarbonate flap) swings open. When your pet comes back inside, only the rigid panel swings inward while the frame remains still. The sturdiness and durability of this door is ideal for active dogs of all sizes.

• The door is plated with spring hinges to resist corrosion; hinge strength varies among sizes and can be adjusted by switching out the heavy hinges for lighter ones
